What are some easy add-ins we can DIY at home?
"Make your own simple syrup, [which] will be equal parts sugar and water. Measure the sugar into a container and then add an equal amount of boiling water; stir to dissolve.  For a richer-style simple syrup, use two parts sugar to water. I like using turbinado sugar, but you can experiment with different sugars, or use honey. (n this case a 2:1 ratio of honey to water is best). Making your own grenadine isn't difficult, either, and much better than the commercially available bottled stuff."
