Humberto Leon
Co-owner Opening Ceremony
1. North Drive Press. "This is one of my favorite art magazines of all time. Not only is it supremely well edited, but it also comes with incredible artist multiples. Plus for only $50, its a steal!"
2. My Blueberry Nights (Wong Kar Wai). "I am really excited to see this highly anticipated Wong Kar Wai film, which premieres this coming February. If the trailer is any indication, the film will be as breathtaking as any Wong Kar Wai film prior."
3. Setagaya "A famous ramen house in Japan has arrived in the East Village. It is one of the most delicious ramen places in New York, not to mention the menu only consists of five items. But the best part about it is that it's MSG free."
4. Giro Specialized Decibel "I just bought my first bicycle helmet and its white, fluorescent pink, and electric blue. I ride my bike daily in the city, and I have recently found that bike helmets look cool. A suit and a bike helmet is a great look."
5. Maui and Sons "I am highly anticipating the arrival of our Maui & Sons relaunch of the original pieces. I have been a huge fan of the brand since elementary school and to see some of the pieces that I have found in thrift stores all around the country being re-produced by the original company is super exciting."
Humberto Leon is a co-owner of the bi-coastal retail destination Opening Ceremony and a designer for the store's eponymous label.
