You Don't Need A Big Bedroom To Have An Amazing Apartment

As soon as Homepolish designer Evan Schwartz walked into this Chelsea apartment he was hit with a very powerful sense of déjà vu. Then he realized it wasn’t a psycho precognition because he actually had been here. He’d designed the apartment just last year!
The original design was for a California transplant couple looking for a zen retreat that had room for yoga mats. With a neutral palette and minimal natural wood accessories, the studio apartment was designed to have a chill and understated vibe.

The new couple living in the apartment, Jamie and Kim, similarly wanted a high-rise retreat, but they went for soft gray walls with hints of metallic and jewel tones.

Both designs ended up looking beautiful, welcoming, and comforting, and made excellent use of the small space. The outcomes, however, were totally different. Evan's ability to transform a space to meet the needs and wants of two different clients is pretty astounding!
