Lo Bosworth's Cozy & Chic Pad Can Seat Up To 14 People

Today, we're talking about Lo Bosworth's amazing, sun-filled, super-chic redesign. Lo's new downtown apartment had great architectural details (exposed brick, tons of windows, pretty flooring) but needed a little professional design love. With her Homepolish designer Justin DiPiero, the two-bedroom space was given the lovely, comfortable, and tasteful boost that the lifestyle entrepreneur needed.

With room for 14 to sit down (yes, 14 people!), a full kitchen, a proper dining room (which could become a second bedroom), and a master bedroom, this sophisticated pad is exactly what Lo wanted. She and Justin collaborated to make sure all of the details were perfect. A luxe purple sofa from AllModern, furry stools from Joss & Main, personal accessories, and those windows create an inviting environment for working on her carefully considered lifestyle site (The Lo Down), entertaining, or just hanging out.

Click through our slideshow for Justin's design ideas. If you love the space as much as we do, take the video tour with Lo on Refinery29.

"We changed a lot!" Says DiPiero. "We added a closet to the dining room and built the breakfast bar in the living room to house her new washer/dryer. We also hung the new chandelier in the dining room and had the apartment freshly painted."

"She definitely wanted a space that felt like home," says DiPiero. "We used a lot of her existing pieces to give it a truly personal touch. We also addressed layout so that the apartment functioned the best that it could for her needs. There's plenty of seating for entertaining, a place for her to work from home, and a cozy living area."

With DiPiero, Lo transformed the space with new furniture, painted walls, and custom installs to make the most of the one-bedroom.

They added a tall, standing armoire, which looks chic while it hides clutter.

We love this little detail: a magnifying glass for hard-to-read print that also really looks good sitting on a coffee table.

Remember, books (in addition to being, you know, reading material) are great decorative elements that bring color into a room.

These are called "Mesmerizing" pillows for a reason.

DiPiero is impressed with the space's functionality. He says it has "so many different functions — bedroom, dining room, office, living room/lounge, and breakfast bar. I counted, and there are at least 14 places to sit. Unheard of in an NYC apartment!"

"I love how we were able to pack so much into her 'classic' (a.k.a. small) New York apartment," DiPiero notes. The glass table is functional and keeps the space feeling airy.

DiPiero adds, "The apartment really feels like Lo. There are a lot of personal touches and existing pieces that we kept. And tying them in with the new AllModern pieces really came out wonderfully. It's a seamless blend."

The eye-catching chandelier works with the overall aesthetic of the room.

A super-chic, all-white kitchen is at the top of the list of things we love about DiPiero and Bosworth's redesign. The brass jars from H&M add just a hint of metallic glam.

Like the kitchen, DiPiero kept the bedroom minimal, focusing on soft textures and one piece of art, to highlight the space's cozy, welcoming feel.

Sentimental details like jewelry and personal photos make a place feel like home. Bosworth keeps her jewelry organized with a Khoi Le snakeskin tray.

We're pretty fond of this leather chair. And by "pretty fond" we mean we're obsessed. (We're obsessed with Bosworth, too.)
