I love my dining room. I love it enough to do hours of work in it each day. But, lately I’d found myself bored with my eating/work/yelling room. All the elements were there, and I loved all of them — my modern bookcases, my sculptural dining table, my cute little Calder-inspired dining chairs — but I realized how badly it needed a refresh. One of the oldest tricks in the designer tool bag is to repaint and rearrange things when they get dull, so I decided to do a little of that in my own dining room using spray paint, wall graphics, and accessories I already owned. And, I’m pretty stoked with the results.
