Fridays are like the last mile of the marathon that is the workweek — all you have to do is make it to the end. And at the end of this race is a prize: $5-glasses of Veuve Clicquot at Area31.
That’s right; it’s back. After a short and highly successful run last year, the downtown restaurant brings back Veuve on the Clock, a priced-by-the-hour happy hour. Basically, your glass of bubbly depends on the time on the clock. So if it’s any time between 5 p.m. and 5:59 p.m., your Champagne will cost $5, and if it’s between 6 p.m. and 6:59 p.m., you’ll pay $6.

Easy enough, right? Well, just wait until you’re a few glasses deep.
