REDCAT presents The Fifty Year Sword
For the more sophisticated cats out there, we thought we'd include this on-stage adults-only ghost story, courtesy of REDCAT. A Texan seamstress is charged with the care of several orphans, and when she opens a mysterious black box, theatrical hell breaks loose. It's showing at both 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., and seating's unreserved, so we recommend you book it to DTLA early for non-nosebleeds.

The Chateau Marmont
Over the years, many guests of André Balazs' blazing-hot spot have said their peace about the otherworldly spirits whom they've apparently encountered. And, it certainly still never deters us from having Fried Chicken Sunday dinners, or even staycationing with a friend who's in town! Regardless, we'd be remiss not to mention at least one of the bizarre narratives not involving Lindsay Lohan or a Sofia Coppola-Stephen Dorff collab. After John Belushi passed away from an overdose at the hotel in '82, a family moved into his former Bungalow (number three). Allegedly, they'd catch their two-year-old chuckling to himself from time to time, and he'd tell his parents that a "funny man" was coaxing the laughs. When the clan was thumbing through photos of the Chateau and Belushi's mug came up, the boy said "There's the funny man!," without his knowledge of whom the comedian was nor ever seeing him previously.
