Gucci has never been one to do things quietly, so you can bet when it decided to introduce Blake Lively (now officially Mrs. Ryan Reynolds) as the spokesperson for its newest fragrance, Première, it was going to be an affair to remember. Held at the Hotel Cipriani in beautiful Venice, Italy, the brand invited hundreds of beauty editors from all over the globe to meet with Blake, learn about the fragrance, and hear what director Nicolas Winding Refn and Frida Giannini, herself, had to say about Blake and the new scent.

Surprise guests at the event included Salma Hayek, who apparently is Blake's new BFF, plus Reynolds, who was there to lend his silent-yet-sexy support to his lady love on her big night.

Here, peep the pics to see just how crazy glam this shindig was, find out what Blake had to say about working with Frida, and take a look at the oh-so-steamy commercial for the scent, which features Blake getting up close and very personal with a perfume bottle, a window, and a giant fan in the desert, among other things. Is it hot in here, or is it just us?
