A New Veg-Friendly Happy-Hour Menu From Greens!

Veggies rejoice! After 30 years of existence, renowned vegetarian restaurant Greens is launching its first-ever happy hour! Running weekdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the new bargain-priced after-work snack menu created by chef Annie Somerville includes mini-empanadas with tomatillo and fire-roasted salsa, corn griddle cakes with romesco and crème fraiche, the pizzetta of the week, a cheese board featuring slices from Cowgirl Creamery and Adante Dairy, and much more. And, to wash it all down, each month the menu, titled “HH at Greens to Go,” will feature a special red and white wine from a different European country. This month is Italy! The eats start at $3.50 (and go to $12) and the drinks from $5 to $9.
