Gordon Salon Is Going Green — & Helping You Save Some

2
A hairstyle can speak volumes about a girl. And while the messy bun works for your everyday routine, there is one cause worth getting gussied up for: the environment. So, head to Gordon Salon this Friday to get the eco-chicest ‘do in town.
From 4 to 9 p.m. on April 12, the salon will be hosting a Blow-Dry-a-Thon in honor of Earth Month. Nature-loving hairdressers will volunteer their time to provide $20 blow-dries, and all proceeds will benefit Alliance of the Great Lakes.
Along with an expertly tousled mane, you’ll get free cookies, hand and shoulder massages, and a makeup touchup; Tarot card readings will be available for an extra $15. But the main perk is doing your bit for Mother Earth, which is sweeter than any chocolate-chip treat.
So, call the salon to book your appointment pronto, and let us know who styled you. We’re always taking tips on Chicago’s best hairdressers — and we give bonus points to those who heart the environment.
Gordon Salon, 3336 North Clark Street (between Roscoe Street and School Street); 773-388-9999.
