Do you stick out on campus because of the way you dress?
"Google is pretty casual in general (shorts, t-shirts, and Birkenstocks are like a uniform here), so if you dress up at all you’ll stick out. But I’ve worn dresses and high heels since I was thirteen, so I’m pretty used to sticking out. I don’t really notice it anymore."
What fashion items are on your wishlist right now?
"I’m going to Europe for the holidays, so I’m all about fun, warm clothes. Bright colored winter jackets, geometric and patterned scarves, and ear muffs are all musts."
Do you consider yourself a geek?
"I’m sure people would say I have some geeky traits, but I think that is just one part of who I am. I grew up in the Bay Area, so I am fascinated by all the exciting technology around me, but I also have many other loves and interests including fashion, art, and design, politics, science, and economics, and I’m also a bit addicted to documentaries and NPR."
