Easiest Impressive Date Ever: Peep Some Art While Doing Good

good-news-only
We've been waiting a long time for something like this to come along! Last month, a new Chi-town gallery opened its doors, and it's a good one (like, really good). Not only do they have a photography exhibition on display with local artists such as Curtis Mann, Rosalind Solomon, and Zoe Strauss, to name just a few, but the Good News Only Gallery is also a non-profit whose mission is to teach local youths how to manage a fine art gallery, unite the community, and develop public art around Chicago. It's all about gaining hands-on skills and learning to look at the world through the lens of art. And what better place to do that, than in a gorgeous space filled with brilliant photography? And if all of that do-gooding happens to make Chicago even prettier, we certainly can't complain.
