Now Britney's got a long, long history with the cover of Rolling Stone, and it could be argued that other covers featuring her in more sexed-out, leather and frosting type accouterments are more iconic. This cover, however, is the girl at her best, brightest, and most natural. Look to the right and you'll see that even at this late date, her style is more "lovable goober" than "wannabe X-tina stripper". This is when the magazine and the public BritBrit were closest. Awww.
