Fine Art Gets The Fashion Treatment With Geren Ford’s Spring Collection

Every time we visit a local museum or gallery, we instantly wish we were trust-fund babies with unlimited funds to support our art addition. We'd hang a David Hockney in the living room or a Slim Aarons above the headboard if we had our way. But, we're balling on a budget here, and any museum-worthy work will have to wait 'til we win the lottery. Unless, of course, you count Geren Ford's spring '13 collection which is not only bank-account-friendly, but inspired by one of L.A.'s greatest artists: Ed Ruscha.
With whimsical colors and shape-shifting silhouettes, the Lala-based line itself is a work of art. While we won't be hanging these frocks and fancy separates on our walls anytime soon, we already envision ourselves as avid collectors. We curated our top ten top picks from the lookbook (added bonus: another L.A.-based designer, Elva Fields, created those jewels!), but head on over to Geren Ford to see 'em all — no museum membership required!
