The Next Iron Chef? Miami’s Own Geoffrey Zakarian, Of Course

Geoffrey Zakarian - post

We were totally stoked when we heard two out of the three finalists on
Project Accessory
were from Miami. And last night, we got the awesome news that our own Geoffrey Zakarian of Tudor House came home a winner after competing for eight weeks on
The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs
. Pretty amazing, Miami.

“Geoffrey is the embodiment of what being an Iron Chef is all about — he pushes the limits of creativity and innovation with his food, and that will certainly make his upcoming battles great entertainment,” says Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Programming and Production, for the Food Network.

We second that, Bob.
To celebrate, the Tudor House is rolling out a few of Zakarian’s dishes from the competition, like an amuse bouche of Halibut Crudo (coconut, lime, and olive oil), Truffle Scrambled Eggs ($28) and Caramel Pork Belly with Artichokes Bariguole ($24).
You can watch our hometown chef perform as an Iron Chef on Sunday, December 25 (9 p.m. on Food Network), but you only have until Sunday, December 31, to try his specials dishes at Tudor House. Get on it!
When: Through Sunday, December 31.
Where: Tudor House, 1111 Collins Avenue; 305-534-8455.
