Rodarte, Vena Cava, Raquel Allegra, and Geren Ford are just a handful of the well-known L.A. fashion labels that can partially credit GenArt for their success. And, based on first impressions, we're guaranteeing that this year's lineup is bound to launch the careers of many more up-and-comers. Take note: We may have another Phillip Lim or Zac Posen in our midst!

If the NYC Fresh Faces in Fashion show didn't get you excited for the West Coast event, maybe this news will: Next week Moroccanoil will present the L.A. leg of the runway presentation, and we're giving away much more than just a set of front-row tickets to one lucky R29 reader. The winner will also receive a swanky swag bag and complimentary booze throughout the pre-cocktail reception, runway show, and after-party. Plus, you'll be able to say that you witnessed the genius of Crybaby Presents, Korovilas, and Shaina Mote before the masses (even though you've seen them all here first, of course)!

Just comment below telling us the song you'd play for a perfect runway soundtrack, and you're instantly entered to win. Who knows — maybe one of the three featured designers will take your suggestion to heart for next week's show! In the meantime, check out some of our fave looks from the rising talents, right here.

    When: Wednesday, October 17, 8 p.m.
Where: Vibiana, 214 South Main Street (between West 2nd and West 3rd streets); 213-626-1507.

Why We Love Proud Mary (Hint: Textiles, Not Tina)
