So, you don’t have Valentine’s Day plans yet, or, for that matter, a valentine. It happens. So, listen up: If you do have an email account, excellent taste in food, and three fabulous dining buddies, we may be able to help you out. You see, we collaborated with a super-cute chef to score a special deal just for Refinery29 readers. Here’s the scoop:
In Lincoln Square, Gather is our favorite new hidden gem of a dining spot. Chef Ken Carter, formerly of Charlie Trotters, oversees the menu of seasonal American eats. And in his off time, he’s a single-lady sympathizer. That’s why the chivalrous chef wants to offer four going-stag gals the chance to come in on Valentine’s Day and let him cook for them. The crew gets a 6:30 p.m. reservation, and each person gets a complimentary appetizer, entrée, and a bit of bubbly.
The awesome deal will go to the first reader to email Carter’s publicist, Katy, at Katy@TheDoorOnline.com. Don’t forget to put “Refinery29 Hearts Gather” in the subject line! If you win, you get to pick three of your pals to accompany you on the outing — and we insist, let them buy you some dessert. And don’t be brokenhearted if you don’t win this time. Cupid will point his arrow at you next year...we can just taste it.
Gather, 4539 North Lincoln Avenue (at Wilson Avenue); 773-506-9300.
