French Flutter: Black Butterflies Take Over at Dior Homme

Step into the Dior Homme boutique in Paris any time until the end of this month and you'll find yourself surrounded by 9,000 black butterflies, affixed to the white walls and ceiling like some kind of spectacular winged parade, courtesy of Italian artist, Andrea Mastrovito.
Commissioned by Dior Homme's artistic director, the installation is inspired by Dior Homme's '08 fall/winter collection, which, if you'll remember, featured oh-so-cute details like black butterflies in place of bowties on the runway. As far as store decor revamps go, we've gotta say, this is one breathtaking metamorphosis. (Wyendreys)
