When did you first realize fashion was what you were meant to do?
Gillian: "I knew that it was meant to be as soon as I got my two-speed Hello Kitty Sewing machine when I turned six. I was hooked and found myself creating an entire wardrobe for my four year-old sister, which I later made her model in fashion shows for my parents and friends. One of the first dresses I made was a little red overall dress with pearls and vintage floral pockets — my mom just sent it to me in the mail, and we have it framed in our office!
Laura: "When I was distressing jeans on a brick wall until my knuckles were bleeding at my internship at One Teaspoon. It was all-in from there!"
On Laura: FL&L Floral Lulu Dress, Vintage Studded Military Jacket, and Frye Boots. On Gillian: FL&L Burnout Dress, and her mom's Vintage Penny Lane Jacket.
