“I try not to have anything I consider strange, because most likely it will just sit in my
fridge until it rots. I do have some katsuobushi, which is dried, fermented, smoked tuna that
I brought back from Tokyo. I make dashi with it sometimes.”
When a midnight snack attack strikes, what’s the plan?
“Fried egg, furikake, spam, and sticky rice.”
