Park Slope
Bark Hot Dogs
Steer clear of dirty-water dogs and opt for a juicy piping-hot frank from this artisanal hot dog shop. Bacon makes everything better, which is why you should order the Bacon Cheddar Dog. Yup, it’s topped with succulent chunks of bacon, cheddar sauce, and pickled onion. $15 minimum.
Bark Hot Dogs, 474 Bergen Street (between 5th and Flatbush avenues); Brooklyn; 718-789-1939.
Windsor Café
One of our favorite Park Slope spots, Windsor Café should be on your radar. It offers an array of different types of cuisine (read: pastas, burgers, Greek specialties, and more), and deliver all over the Slope from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. (11 p.m. Friday to Saturday). $12 minimum.
Windsor Café, 220 Prospect Park West (between 16th Street and Windsor Place); Brooklyn; 866-465-8102.
Campo de’Fiori
For Roman-style pizza, hit up Campo de’Fiori. We go gaga for the Malandrina (salami, mozzarella, tomato, and crushed red pepper). It also serves a killer Eggplant Parmigiana. $15 minimum.
Campo de’Fiori, 187 5th Avenue (at Berkeley Place); Brooklyn; 347-763-0933.
