    I am a lifelong tourist. Anywhere and everywhere is an opportunity to learn and explore. From Manhattan and Brooklyn to Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx, there are, of course, the obvious tourist spots — and then there are the out-of-the-way places that are special and really worth it. New York City is bursting with things to do, and if you wander off the beaten path, you're bound to discover things and places you've never even heard of. Here are five of my favorites.
