Erin Wasson x RVCA Dole Out Hot, Sweaty Fun and Jello Shots!

Everyone was bummed that fashion's reigning downtown party king, Alexander Wang, nixed his after party this season. But when Wang muse, model, designer, and girl-about-town Erin Wasson throws a bash showing off her new collection for L.A surf 'n skate brand RVCA, you know it's going to be a bit like a Wang bash anyway. And indeed, the queue to get into Milk Studios for the 9pm soiree was already pouring out onto the sidewalk by 9:10, and, by the time we got upstairs, the venue was near-packed. L.A kids Corey Kennedy and Mark the Cobrasnake mingled with New Yorkers like Opening Ceremony's Humberto Leon and of course, Mr. Wang himself, while Paris Vogue ingenue Lara Stone made the rounds flashing that gorgeous gap-teeth-smile of hers. The clothes were dead-on Erin: Classic Americana faded denim vests and jeans, slouchy bedroom tees, and Wild-West fringe detailing, and almost all the clothes were held up with super-sexy thigh highs and garter straps. The designer du jour flitted from corner to corner in towering leopard-print booties, only to end up spread-eagle by the elevator at the end of the night. At first we thought the jello shots had gotten to her head--they were delicious, mind you--but then we realized she was just taking off her shoes. Hey, you can't blame the girl--it's her party, after all.
