What is the one piece you're most excited to wear this season?
“Not really one piece, but I did get the most amazing Tom Ford coat — in the sales, admittedly. I’ve also got some of these amazing furs from J. Mendel that I’m wearing here, and pairs from Prada and Jimmy Choo — there’s lots of things I’m excited to wear from this season!”

What do you love about NYFW?
“So many young designers are showing next to the big brands, the Marc Jacobses, the Donna Karans, the Calvin Kleins, next to the Altuzarras, the Proenzas, Phillip Lims, Thakoon, you could go on and on. There are so many amazing young(ish) talents right next to major American sportswear and luxury. I love that kind of dichotomy. In London, it’s mostly young designers, with a few big brands. Milan has a few major brands, and in Paris, you have the incredible, the huge shows. In New York, you see clothes coming down the runway you actually want to wear — my shopping list gets very, very long here.”

Do you have any secret spots that you're really into or any favorite shops or restaurants you want to let our readers in on?
“The place I go to for a bit of sanity, and amazing organic food, at 14th and 8th (S'Nice). And I love Doma.”
