“Colorful, playful, it’s very layered. I love mixing materials together like silk and leather and glitter. Just fun!”

What’s your strategy as an editor? What do you want your magazine to express?
“My strategy is to find an angle, what no one else has written about. From me, you won’t see a normal critique of a fashion show, I’ll always try to twist it for a more approachable content for the reader. Refinery29 knows this: people don’t need fashion editors to tell them to wear yellow, they don’t care! What they want to know the behind the scenes, how to style what they already have — a more personable experience of fashion is what I want to bring. My strategy is to be more a friend than a role model.”
