Je Ne Sais Quoi Beauty & Bardot Hair At Erin Fetherston

While the majority of runway-hair looks are undoubtedly impressive, there are few that are, well, wearable. While we definitely look to Fashion Week to awe and inspire, let's face it: Not many of us are willing and able to sport teased bouffants or slick, scuba hair. The look we we are dying to try (always and forever): Brigitte Bardot vacationing in Saint Tropez. Leave it to the angelic Erin Fetherston to feature this incredibly feminine, pretty, romantic-yet-sexy look at her spring '13 show.
Created by Odile Gilbert for Kérastase Paris, this look packs a trendy punch (hello, zipper headbands!), yet is surprisingly simple to recreate. To start, Gilbert prepped hair with Kérastase Mousse Volumactive and executed a simple blowout. Next, she created loose curls all over with a large-barrel curling iron to create shiny movement. For the perfect accessory, Gilbert tied on zippers as headbands, securing them underneath the hair. As a finishing touch, she gave the front section of the hair a twist, looping it through the open zipper to create the face-framing swoop. To keep it all in place, Gilbert used Double-Force Hairspray and added shine with Elixir Ultime Rose Milleanaire (new for fall!) on the ends. Ta-da!
