How many years have you been styling and how did you get into it?
"In the 14-plus years as a buyer and manager at Métier, I learned a tremendous amount about fashion, trends, merchandising, and styling. Much of it was intuitive, but my style creds really stacked up when we started our blog in 2008. We styled three to four shoots a week. The blog became a coveted stop, due in part to our unique buys, but also because our collaborative styling was fresh and unexpected. When Métier closed in July, it was a natural progression to pursue styling."

Do you have a signature look when styling someone?
"I'm the queen of accessories. From years as a buyer and a flea-market junkie, I have quite the bag of tricks — vintage kimonos, heirloom lockets, Deco brooches, African beads, bejeweled bags, bangles, and more. Whether simple or over the top, the balance of accessorizing is an art to me."
