Name: Kiersten Stevens
Neighborhood: Potrero Hill
How many years have you been styling and how did you get into it?
"I started when I was 18 in L.A. as an assistant, and then took time to have a 'real job.' I left my job at Gilt Groupe over a year ago and have been full-time since!"
Do you have a signature look when styling someone?
"I like classic looks with flair. I’m into menswear for women. Gwen Stefani rocks that pretty hard and I’m a big fan of hers."
What’s been one of your most memorable jobs?
"I will say memorable, because it was my first real job and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I was 18 and my aunt, who was a producer, hired me to style a spot for The Game Show Network. She needed: A wrestler, a prostitute, and a priest costume. Just think about the mix! Anyway, it all worked out, but the veteran makeup artist had to keep giving me tips on what to do, because I had no clue! A great learning experience and memory I will never ever forget."
