Name: Lisa Moir
Neighborhood: Outer Sunset
How many years have you been styling and how did you get into it?
"I've been styling in San Francisco for about three years. I came here from Canada with a background in fashion and graphic design. I was offered a job styling clothing with a line of shoes for a company in Laguna, and I was hooked. I quit my other job and started to pursue it full time, signed with an agency a year ago, and couldn't be happier."
What does a typical day look like for you?
"I could spend the day resourcing and conceptualizing or creating storyboards and mood boards. Sometimes, I could be prepping all day long with my assistant for an advertising shoot, meeting with a client, pulling clothing from stores or other sources. On shoot days, we might be on location or in a studio. I also have a small roster of clients that work with me for wardrobe consultations and personal shopping, so I might be out shopping all day."
