Where do you go in L.A. when you're not working?
"When I'm not working you can bet I'm at my boyfriend's restaurant, Night + Market. I tend to moonlight as a hostess in my free time."
What do you embrace about Lala as opposed to The Big Apple?
"In NYC I ate at the same five restaurants. Now that I'm in L.A., I've tried so many types of food. My dad is so impressed that I like scallops and oysters! I've even learned how to shuck oysters — something I never did in NYC!"
What are your favorite dishes in Tinseltown?
"Spice Table has this amazing shrimp dish with corn flakes that makes my heart skip a beat. I've also been known to belly up at the bar as Sotto is closing and ask for any leftover lardo. And I've got a wicked sweet tooth — Short Cake's Brunette Bar is like a blondie, but more savory. That, and its coffee, is the ideal midday snack in my book."
