Have you ever made a funny or inappropriate outfit choice at the office?
"One morning, I was really running late. A dress I ordered online had arrived the night before but I hadn’t tried it on yet. In my rushed state, I ripped open the package, threw on the dress, and headed out. Halfway through my subway ride, as I was really waking up, I started thinking ‘this dress is a bit short’. I spent the rest of the ride convincing myself it was not. Once I started walking from the subway to the office I was totally panicking. This dress was SO short, especially for heels (I travel to work in casual flats and change into heels in the office). My roommate was a grad student at the time and had a flexible schedule so I called her and begged her to bring me a different dress from my closet. She didn’t get down to my office until around noon. I get to work at 7 a.m. and literally did not get up from my desk for those five hours until she arrived."

Have you found any accessorizing/ layering tricks that work for the office?
"It’s FREEZING in our office (as most offices are), so I always have some kind of layering piece at my desk no matter what the season. My dad travels frequently to the Middle East on business and has brought me back so many beautiful pashminas that I now have a really extensive collection of colors and designs. They add a great touch to any outfit while also keeping me warm."
