We’re Fawning Over Faris’ Magnificently Modernist Pieces

Our motto when it comes to accessorizing? The more the merrier! But, this sartorial mantra extends way beyond the baubles we pile on each morning: We’re always down to unearth new jewelry whizzes and shops (evidence right here). Trust us when we say that there’s no shortage of skilled makers shaking up bedazzling the Bay.
That said, when we caught sight of Oakland-based artist Faris Du Graf’s paradise of a line, Faris, we were wildly impressed. The architectural pieces incorporate splashes of color with strong gold plates, creating pieces fit for royalty. And, it makes sense that the styles are so shapely — Du Graf credits her design-savvy eye to years of working in architecture. Lucky for us, the Seattle native and now East Bay expat shifted gears to whip up this primary-hued line that just about takes our breath away. Of course, we’re hooking it up with the 411 and presenting a quirky roundup of our top picks. In the mood for a jewelry-box revamp? Don’t mind if we do!
