The September issues are starting to weigh down the newsstands, and for the true, ride-or-die fashion fans out there, there's more to fall fashion than just baroque prints and One Direction shoot: there are the fall ad campaigns to stalk as well.

Millions of dollars, thousands of hours, and hundreds of gimlet-eyed folks have been hard at work to fill the pages and screens of your favorite magazines, web sites, and publications... and we're here to break them down for you. And even though a picture says a thousand words, we're here to offer a few more. Ahead, you'll find our captions for our favorite fall ad campaigns.
