A Grown-Up Fall Cocktail We'll Sip All Season
Autumn has arrived (even though this week didn't feel like it), and while the kiddies carve their pumpkins, the grown-ups can partake in a bit of booze. And we like it. That's why Mike Ryan at Sable Kitchen & Bar (which you need to check out ASAP if you've never been) and the good people at Brugal Rum are sharing the recipe for a cocktail that every host and hostess needs to master. Earn some serious cool points among your friends, or just have something special to sip at home after work. Either way the Doctor's Orders is about to become one go-to recipe worth toasting.
1.5 oz Brugal Anejo
.5 oz Maurin Quina
.5 oz Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy
.25 oz rich demerara syrup
2 dashes angostura bitters
Stirred, served up, marasca cherry garnish
