Turns Out, People Trust A Local Grocery Shop More Than Facebook!
Sure, we’ve all seen the pesky little Facebook sidebars promoting ads that the tech giant believes to be appealing (car eyelashes? we’ll pass). But, despite the hilarity, the social-media giant is using personal information to flaunt sometimes-frivolous items in our faces, and folks are fed up. So, it kind of makes sense that a recent study revealed
that people trust a grocery store more than Facebook, Google, and Amazon. Apparently, 81% of people feel more at ease offering up local shops personal info (and receiving recommendations for future purposes in return), meanwhile only 33% revealed they are comfy with Facebook using their info for promotional purposes.
