New Valencia Street spot F.S.C. Barber (which shares a space with Freeemans Sporting Club men’s store) just launched a new facial for the fellas dubbed The Hangover Treatment. The 15-20 minute, $25 rescue service is supposed to “offer relief from last night’s aftermath.” To see how it all works, we recruited one very willing young man, local writer Dino-Ray Ramos, to take it for a test drive. Step One of the treatment is wrapping the face in a hot towel infused with tea tree oil, which has antiseptic qualities. Then Malin + Goetz's famed 5-Minute Detox Face Mask is applied, oxygenating the skin as it bubbles up and removes dirt and oil. Once the mask is removed, another hot towel with tree tea oil is wrapped around the face, followed by a cold towel with soothing lavender oil, which is supposed to help ease tension and anxiety. The last step is an application of Malin + Goetz's Facial Moisturizer SPF 15. And voilà! Check out that happy customer.
