Exclusive: Our First Look At Kimberly Ovitz’s Fall Line

kimberly-ovitz-fall-2010-2
While the rumor is that Kim Ovitz may be moving her eponymous line to New York City, we are happy to have this extraordinarily talented up-and-comer staying put on the West Coast. The reason why? Her fall collection is arguably the most covetable of the season, especially for us L.A. ladies. We're literally obsessed with the sumptuous asymmetrical knits, the black-and-white striped blazers, and the impeccably tailored trousers she's already become known for. Inspired by her father Michael's first-class modern art collection and the designer's own love of horseback riding (her equestrian streak can be seen in her slim silhouettes) the fall collection is truly an achievement for the young L.A. native. And though it may seem shocking that this is only Kim's second fall collection, with stints at J.Crew, Chanel's Rue Cambon atelier, and W magazine under her belt, we are not surprised that this 26 year old's collection is exactly what we want to wear all autumn long. So while the rest of the country is experiencing an unreal heat wave, cozy up to Kim Ovitz' killer fall collection during this unseasonable cool SoCal summer. With fans like Chloë Sevigny and Kate Hudson you'll be in very stylish company.
