First Look: Emily Jerome’s Spring Collection

Emily Jerome, a New York transplant who recently set up a studio in the City of Angels, is making quite a splash in the Sunshine State. Her insanely beautiful spring lookbook for her line, JEROME, was shot at Donald Judd's Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas, and the clothing is as striking as the setting. Emily draws her own prints and jacquards, and finds inspiration in everything from Christmas Tree worms that burrow in hard coral reefs, ancient ritual scarves from Bhutan, Grecian chitons, and, of course, Marfa, where she spent part of her childhood. We're totally inspired by Emily's spring line, and guarantee that you'll be hearing much more from this L.A. designer whose star is seriously on the rise.
JEROME is available at Ron Herman, 8100 Melrose Avenue (at Crescent Heights); 323-655-9500.
