Wednesday Events: Party On CMJ, Spiegelman at The Strand and Return to the Scene of the Crime at MoMA
It's only day two of CMJ and we're already hungover and tired. Never fear, we'll make that Starbucks run later to get back on track. To continue our ongoing coverage of CMJ, here are our picks for today: Female Brit-punk band The Slits are tearing Lit a new one, Margot and the Nuclear So & So's are hitting up Bowery Ballroom, The Teenagers are taking over the Ben Sherman Store, The Dears are invading Maxwells and Takka Takka will be rocking out at the Red Bull Space.For those of you who don't want to have beer spilled on you, you might be interested in checking out Art Spiegelman will be reading from his classic Breakdowns at the Strand and Ken Jacobs' film Return to the Scene of the Crime will be shown over at MoMA.
