Ten Years of Zero: Maria Cornejo Celebrates a Decade of Designs With a Private Sale Party
A decade in the rocky business of fashion certainly deserves a toast, and tomorrow, Maria Cornejo, the designer behind Zero + Maria Cornejo will be doing just that. From 6 to 9pm, Cornejo will be hosting a celebration of her 10 years with a fete at her Mott Street store featuring a 40% discount off of her fall/winter collection, the introduction of the resort '09 designs, and, the main event, the presentation of her capsule collection "10 Black Dresses"—a limited run of black numbers, one for every year of the brand's existence. Naturally, the Champagne will flow as fans and shoppers toast and bargain hunt. It may be a private party, but consider this article as your personal invitation.
