Talk about an '80s revival. Megabrand Esprit's been through its share of ups and downs, starting when power duo Doug and Susie Tompkins started the company in the '60s, dressed everyone in logo-d sweatshirts in the '80s, and traveled across the sea to get at the European and Asian markets. But a homecoming is long overdue, and Esprit is planning on opening a New York, three-level flagship on West 34th street in March. At the forefront of this takeover is campaign faces Daisy Lowe and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld in decidedly un-'80s ensembles. We're nuts about striped shirts for spring like the one on Julia, and Daisy's loose blouse looks like the perfect top to welcome springtime. Welcome home, guys!
