Girls' clothing usually provides ample outfit options and we should be content with that. But after seeing Ernest Alexander's amazingly tailored shirts and jackets, we'd happily dip into the guys' department. After just two years on the scene, designer Ernest Alexander Sabine has offered up some simple yet must-have options, including a gasp-inducing array of bags — duffles, backpacks, messenger bags, even small folios — that, with classic and utilitarian cuts, and waxed canvas or nylon fabrics, will last forever. The bags (and the rest of the garments) are sure to make amazing gifts for guys, and luckily for us, the first incarnation of the Ernest Alexander pop-up shop opens downtown today, running quite appropriately through Christmas Eve. Talk about a holiday wish come true!
