Walking up to the Erin Wasson x RVCA event—which practically kicked off the new season of Fashion Week—we saw Wassons's mom and Fashion Toast's Rumi Neely getting out of a taxi together. Rumi showed up in a white tank and black mini from the new collection, with an exposed lacy black bra and chunky lace-up heels. "Dude, these are stripper shoes," she admitted.
As for the real clothes, we've all seen snaps of Wasson's much-buzzed-about RVCA capsule collection already, but somehow seeing the frayed denim cut-offs and studded black skirts in the flesh elicited thrills. From the super-foxy, super-tight white motorcycle vest (we want it!) to boyish black jackets and beyond-distressed denim vests and boyfriend jeans, the LES-by-way-of-L.A. line contained everything a wannabe Wasson doppelganger needs. And with the always cool Wasson herself making the rounds inside and out in a provocative, cut-down-to-there tank and a LowLuv chain, that gig's sounding better and better.

Running into Sartorialist Scott Schuman between Belvedere drinks and tacos, he said what he loves about Erin is that she's super sexy and KNOWS it, "Just look at her, with no bra on!" he said. Erin, however, denied it being an issue, and nonchallantly said, "If I had titties, it'd be a different story."
