Erin Fetherston has signed on to guest design and creative consult for Juicy Couture until the end of 2011. Juicy Couture may have the mass market down pat, but serious fashion people still sometimes associate the Olde-English-gone-tween brand as a girlier Ed Hardy, and we feel like Erin's quirky yet wholly feminine tastes are just what Juicy needs to enter the higher-taste game. But don't think that this means the end of those butt-emblazoned velour sweats. Erin apparently wore them in high school and is designing a special little something to celebrate the duds' 10-year anniversary this year. We'll reserve our absolute opinions until we see them, but the term "high fashion track suit" still leaves a bitter taste in our mouths. (WWD)
