A Berkeley Designer’s Breezy New Lookbook — Color Us Obsessed!

It's days like today when we feel like the world is yanking our chain just a bit. Deceptively sunny, yet brisk temps lull outside, and then a hue-drenched lookbook comes along — taunting us with images of sweet spring ventures accompanied by breezy threads that we wish we could slip into right now. Berkeley-based designer Erica Tanov’s latest sartorial endeavor conjures up memories of days lounging at the park, lakeside excursions, and well, just warm-weathered moments all around.
Tanov’s cheerful collections never fail to wow us, and once again she's hit the nail on the head. The spring ’13 lookbook doesn’t just feature fruitful textiles and garments designed by the R29 fave. Nope, this time she culled talent from Oakland non-profit Creative Growth — a visual arts foundation dedicated to supporting artists with disabilities. Gorgeous clothes that support and showcase an equally enthralling cause? We couldn't think of a better reason to indulge in some cabin-fever captures! Have at it.
