Erica Camille is a destination-wedding photographer and travel blogger based in New York City and Thailand, specializing in LGBT weddings.
Occasionally, I get inquiries for small, DIY weddings because I encourage people to get in touch regardless of their budget. I’m only able to take a couple of these celebrations each season, but they are often some of the most emotional ones I shoot. When Tiffany and LaToya contacted me with their story and told me about their small destination wedding in Central Park, I knew I had to make it happen!

As they put it, “We are two weirdos that met by chance in South Korea, not looking for love, but as fate would have it, fell in love.” They moved back to the States together, but soon realized “Home is wherever we are together” — and followed their wanderlust to Shanghai, China, where they currently live.

I love their engagement story, which involved Tiffany planning in secret and sending LaToya on a scavenger hunt that ended with the big question.
