Erica Camille is a destination-wedding photographer and travel blogger based in New York City and Thailand, specializing in LGBT weddings.
Banyan Tree is one of the best wedding venues in Koh Samui, and one of the island's only five-star hotels. It was the perfect spot for Belinda and Cameron's intimate destination wedding. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Thailand and resort villas made the backdrop nothing short of a photographer’s dream. But, all that doesn't even begin to describe this stunning wedding.

Aside from the super-cool destination factor — and the fact that there were only six guests — Belinda designed her own wedding dress. Working with Lenka Harvey, the seamstress for One Day Bridal, Belinda found a gorgeous oversized tulle, and the whole thing fell into place. She wanted the dress to be feminine and romantic, but also comfortable in the tropical heat. Since Belinda knew exactly what she wanted — not a traditional beachy wedding dress, but rather one with subtle layers of color and ultimately totally unique — her vision came to life just as she'd hoped. Wait until you see it paired with the Charlotte Olympia Mae West heels she chose.
