"I'm not sure if deeming this 'the best memory of summer' is quite right — getting engaged in Todos Santos on July 4th was more like "the most INSANE memory I will ever hold near to my heart. We have been frequenting the surf town for over ten years, and after a day of wave-riding, card-playing, and discussing love and life (and what we wanted out of both) on a desolate beach, we went to a tiny museum that we never forget to visit any time we're there. They have those books where you sign your name, date, and where you're from, so we thumbed through all of our signatures from so many trips of the past — it was crazy to see our long history of memories together officially documented. Then, he took me to this picturesque courtyard, properly got down on one knee and proposed. An elderly Mexican couple had witnessed the entire thing, and approached us in tears to take our photo. Then, we proceeded to sign that book once again, "WE'RE ENGAGED! Mr. and Mrs. Pierose of Los Angeles, California, July 4th, 2012"
