What is the Richmond artistic scene like?
"It is unbelievably supportive. Richmond has a tight-knit community of artists who are building their own businesses, creating more studio spaces, and putting on events to promote newcomers. Also, there are amazing local programs for artists who are no longer in school to help further their work or education."

What made you want to design scarves?
"It was a decision based on my desire to get my work into the hands of more people. My work in a gallery became too precious, and I wanted to break that mold. I started designing scarves because I wanted to see people wear my work, have fun styling it, and be able to share it with others."
