Taschen Rereleases "Temple of Flora," and We Get Floral Fever

When we heard that Taschen, the eminent purveyor of fine art books, is rereleasing Robert John Thornton's masterpiece The Temple of Flora (first published in London in 1799), we were immediately inspired to rediscover all things botanical. And so, naturally, we turned to the jungle that is ebay to hunt down some potential perennial favorites.

Vintage Gucci Floral Shoulder Bag—um, they reissued this print a few seasons ago and the bags were going for a fortune—here's an original version that's still lurking at the $50 mark! Hurry!

Vintage Balmain Floral Purse—before Balmain was all modern again, they were all about muted and pretty - take this purse for example - kinda on the quiet side, but can work if paired with the right get-up.

Vintage Micro Mosaic Floral Pins—an amazing way to add a little somethin' somethin' to just about anything: a blouse, a clutch, etc.

4 Temple of Flora Prints—straight out of the book itself, these prints are just begging to be pinned to your kitchen wall, and add a little old-school floral flare.
